Thank you, Mrs. S! (and a challenge recognition!) :)

Hello all and happy Thursday! :) I have two little things to say today.



First off, I have a parent of one of my students who always compliments my cards and says such wonderful things about them. She's quite supportive as she's a paper crafter herself (although she is more of a scrapbooker!) :) So, I thought it only fitting that I create a card thanking her. :) She told me she likes the color red and likes gingham...so...

I am going to hope she also like strawberries! LOL (She did tell me she's not a "flower" type person...so I'm safe there! ;) )

I just had to make a matching envelope! ;) I'm going to include a note in the card, but on a separate piece of paper. This way she can, should she wish, use this to give to somebody else. :)



And my second bit of news is quite exciting. I've been given honorable mention at the Play Date Cafe for this card here! And because of that win, I can proudly wear this badge:

I'm the cream in their coffee...yeah... you heard me!  ;) So thank, you PDC! I truly am honored and greatly appreciate the recognition! :)
